The popular market town of Huntly in the Northeast of Scotland is well know for being the home of "Deans Shortbread", it has a population of around 6000 and enjoys a picturesque location on the edge of the River Deveron. The many amenities on offer include supermarkets, cafes, primary and academy schooling, Huntly Health Centre, numerous individual shops and Huntly Mart. The Farmers' Market visits the Town Square which is also a popular venue for many family focused events, the locals feel a strong sense of community living in Huntly.

The town is well served with transport options being only a stone's throw from the A96, there is a railway station with trains running regularly between Inverness and Aberdeen and the bus service provides local and regional links. Being home to a cross section of businesses, Huntly provides a good selection of employment opportunities whether you are an agricultural engineer, a nurse, retail assistant or teacher.
